Our kaolin fillers are produced in Hirschau-Schnaittenbach and by our subsidiary in Saxony, Caminauer Kaolinwerk GmbH.
Deposits with sufficient reserves for many decades and state-of-the-art production facilities make us a reliable partner for the paper industry.
Our primary deposits yield kaolin with a characteristic disc or platelet shape. Used as kaolin fillers, they ensure a high degree of smoothness and reduce the penetration of printer’s ink. Therefore they are primarily used in the area of gravure papers – and wherever “coating from inside” is important.
With our new deposit in the Ukraine, we now possess an additional source of kaolin with a comparably high degree of whiteness. This deposit also contains sufficient kaolin to ensure many years of reliable supply.
