The plant in Melk belongs to our Austrian subsidiary,  Quarzwerke Austria GmbH.
In addition to several kinds of silica sand, feldspar is produced here. The feldspar is cleaned using wet-mechanical processes, separated, filtered and freed from calcium and organic impurities. The material is subjected to continuous inspection and monitoring to ensure consistent, high quality.
